Long, dark winter days can really get me down. I think I suffer a bit from seasonal affective disorder. To help keep the blues at bay I try to get outside, even if it's just for a few minutes. Breathing deep and filling my lungs with fresh air is invigorating. Like you, I light candles and watch movies. Also, I use Mermaids of the Lakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15822117427235690767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8787134478873008523.post-54279416027023550872010-01-10T18:07:59.577-08:002010-01-10T18:07:59.577-08:00We didn't have our tree up very long this year...We didn't have our tree up very long this year either. The nights are so long in the winter, aren't they? I pile up in my comfy chair with books and journals and pens and paste and do alot of dreaming through January and February. Also--my paperwhites didn't get planted before Christmas so I have that greenery to enjoy for the next few weeks. ~Kathy
P.S. I like to get the ones on sale, a lot of them, and spruce them up. Anything but roses, although I love them, do not last long but some of the others do. I haven't visited for awhile, like others too much going on. Hope all are well and I enjoyed visiting.
QMMAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8787134478873008523.post-50738615876822609852010-01-05T23:14:41.915-08:002010-01-05T23:14:41.915-08:00I love your 'indoor winter garden' idea! ...I love your 'indoor winter garden' idea!
