I really like the "some things are better caught than taught" expression. It's not something that I've thought of before, but I agree, it is very true. Your prayer partner/mentor sounds like an amazing woman, too!
So true...it's not what mom said, but what she did that made the biggest impact! I lost my mom to cancer 8 years ago...but she'll always be part of me.
