Re-do on Redoute & Blogger

I was in a botanical mood for Art Walk last week, and tried my hand at a few botanical type watercolors. This first one is actually a take off of a Redoute print.

I have been on a forced sabbatical here on blogger because I was  having no luck trying to post  pictures. Blogger had cut me off unless I paid for more space on picasa.  Blogger wouldn't let me post pictures off of my computer, and wouldn't let me even use Facebook anymore.  I was posting pictures on F.B. for awhile  and using the url from there. Then that quit working. I have tried reading the help section on blogger, but to no avail. I finally figured out I could open up another account on photobucket, and that has allowed me to post pictures again.  I wonder how long this will last.  I am still confused by the fact that I can't just simply upload from my computer anymore. If any of you out there know this answer I would be very appreciative of you help  =)

These are crummy pictures any how...but it gives you an idea of what I have been up to. I am very anxious for some signs of spring around here!!!

Another bit of news, Jenna Dear has moved back home for a bit.  She needed to nest back with us for a while and is going to help her sister with her photography business.

Here are some of Megan's latest pictures of Puddin Toes, and Sweet Pea.  My they are growing so fast!

Your paintings are wonderful...a softer-looking Georgia O'Keefe sort of look, but I like your choice of colors better. Very nice. :)

And the photos your daughter took are beautiful. Again, love the colors there as well.

Btw, moved my blog back to Blogger, since Wordpress just didn't make me happy.

Your paintings are WONDERFUL!! I have just started taking a few watercolor classes and I am addicted! I have a ways to go before I get any as pretty as yours. Since I'm new around here, I am guessing those are your grands (because I always think of grands since I miss mine all the time!). They are adorable!!

Wish I could help about the blog issues, but I am clueless. I saw on Picassa last week that I had used 87% of my free space... so, I guess I may be facing this same issue soon, too.

Once again, your paintings... wonderful!

I am always disappointed when I get to the end of the photography you share. You take amazing pictures! What precious subjects you have. Hope you get your problem taken care of. I certainly would not be able to help you. I have some of the same problems. Thanks for sharing the watercolors and the photography. Both are beautiful!

Your art is so beautiful---searching for a better word! And I love the lighting on your daughter's photography--so sort of delicate. I do know with blogger it helps to reduce the size of your photo before you upload so it takes up less room but I think you are doing that. I just upload from my computer.. I actually would like to get rid of Picasso but feel like it might ake my photos with it. We all need help it sounds like!

What a lovely collection of God's art - - both the flowers AND the bloomin' baby beauties.

Cindy just pay the fee on Picasa and you will have no problems. For the amount of photography space bloggers use it will not cost much at all.
When I first registered a few years ago one paid a higher fee but they have now brought it down for low users. I think I only pay about £4 a year now.

All your photos will be securely stored too in case you ever lost them.

Mad photo skills there! Wow wow wow...

Your art is dreamy good. Good for the soul to paint isn't it?

Picasa has been switching from one drive to another randomly, making me wonder where my pictures went. Now it won't access the drive I need it to at all. Scowl.

I don't put my pictures into Picasa web albums, I put them on an external drive. Occasionally I make a web album, but haven't needed to buy more space (yet).

There has to be a better way, right? I hope photobucket works for you...I might be joining you there soon!
