The Garden is Bursting Forth

This is a little interesting...first time trying out this new format that they seemed to have switched on me.  Well it seems par for the coarse these days.  My life feels like everything is being switched on me. Life is good, I have just not caught up to it yet, even in blog land apparently.
Newly planted clematis last summer...I am so pleased.  These plants don't usually love my garden.

I did get to run out to the garden for a few hours yesterday and do some weeding and last minute planting of spring bulbs and such.  Yes a little on the late side ;)  The lilac are in full bloom and the scent was intoxicating.  That is the smell of my childhood mornings in New England.  LOVE!  I thought of planting a chair right under the most scented blossoms and plunking down for a few hours to read a book , but alas so much to do.  That felt way to much like a guilty pleasure I could not afford this year.  Next year perhaps I will have much more time on my hands and be whining about that most likely.

Well here are some pictures from the boy in Minnesota who is getting hitched this fall.  I just got the pictures and permission to post them.

My son and his lovely bride to be showing off the ring!

When I asked for some engagement photo's I think they decided to give me the full deal meal and hammed it up a bit =)  So fun and so happy for them.  My son will be getting married on Labor Day.  I am looking forward to our trip out to Minnesota.

My Week!

More life is going on in this one week than I think I can stand.  I am so amazed that one week ago tonight I was up all night with my daughter waiting for the arrival of Cora Eve. As of this morning my son in law launched a brand new business.  Finnegan Frost

Here are their first customers

I snatched a very quick shot of my daughter Meg and baby Cora in the pouch less than one week after having her baby.  She is such a trooper, and amazes me at every turn!  Oh and another interesting tid bit the third partner in this new business venture also had a brand new baby three days ago.  Young couples these days astound me.

Thursday night my daughter Jenna Dear announced her engagement.  Yes we knew the big question was coming, but with so much happening around here her boyfriend was having a hard time fitting it in...bless his heart <3  We are just so full of joy!!!

Now I just need some photo's from my one and only son who is also recently engaged living in Minnesota!!!

With grateful hearts full to overflowing to the King of Kings.   I may be a week late but here is my Easter thanksgiving!!!

Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.

Baby Cora Eve made her debut 9:06 am Easter morning. 6 lb. 10 oz. She is a beauty! Meg did an amazing job!!!! Glory to God!!!

Big sister's singing Cora a lullaby to calm her down <3
 they love her soooo much

 Amazing big sis!

So this Nana is wiped out!  Watching my daughter laboring all night all natural was a bit draining.  She wanted the whole experience this time and well she had it.  She did a great job!  It might have been harder on me...well maybe not physically =)

We are all in love with our littlest princess.

One baby down and two weddings to go.  I guess I am  in for the long distance marathon this summer  LOL!

Missing on the Blog Roll

Neither of these are the dress, but oh we had such fun!!!

I have been missing in action in blog world, and I guess I will be hit and miss till next fall.  Have I mentioned we have a new baby coming in a few weeks and two weddings this summer.  My son's is getting married on labor day weekend, and Jenna dear is planning on a mid summer wedding.  During all this fun I am launching a Community Arts Center in my town.  I feel way in over my head, but I am learning a new level of trust in my King.  If He is in it, I can relax and just trust Him for all the hoopla to fall into place and just get done.  I had a wonderful baby shower for my dear Meg who is about to pop any second with grand daughter number 3 Cora Eve. Don't you just love that sweet old fashion name?
She requested tea and scones for her party.  I also made 4 kinds of crepes.  It was lots of work but all kinds of fun with a dear friend in town who helped me out quite a bit.  We made orange glazed strawberries with a mascarpone topping, bannans, nutella & walnuts with a carmel sauce on top, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, and a sausage, mushroom, green pepper with a béchamel sauce.
Two kinds of herbal teas and lemon cucumber water, plus Earl Grey and Tetley English blend for hot teas.

Life is full and rich right now...and I am reveling in all that God has sent my way!
Happy Easter to you all...He has Risen!!!
