Indian Summer

These guys are buddies!
I was just over at Vee's place and the whole blog world seems to be taken up with fall. Well...yeah I guess it is technically fall. I am having a crazy time though trying to convince myself of that here when our weather is just so darn spectacular right now. Just in recent days a tinge of a hint of color is hitting some early turning foliage. We are really right in the middle of the most awesome Indian summer. It’s supposed to hit the 90's tomorrow! We are mostly in the high 70's during the day and 50's at night.

I can't resist being outside as much as possible. The parks are really drawing me, and well tomorrow I am going to just play in my garden and pretend it is still summer.

Here are some pictures I took last Friday when I convinced Papa to come play hooky with Puddin Toes and I in the park.

He makes a face

She makes a face

Quite the cute little game they had going on here

and if you notice the background foliage...not looking much like fall yet

What a beautiful world you have there! (I left you a little comment behind the comment you left for me at my blog.) Enjoy it, welcome it, participate in it, don't rush the time.

Puddin' Toes and Grandpa have a great relationship! She is such an expressive little girl that I can imagine the game was a whole lot of fun.

Hi In a Garden. You know that puddin toes is the cutest blossom in that park!

Our trees, by and large, still look green. There are some tinges of yellow and red, but nothing to speak of, really. The great colourful pageant doesn't get going here till well into October...

Our leaves aren't really changing yet either. Your little puddin toes is so sweet. She seems to have personality plus! I can remember when Avery was that age. It has flown by and now here she is 8 years old. Her and papa look like they are having such fun. Aren't these the most precious times? Thank the Lord for our sweet babies.

Love Puddin in that hat, so off with the head bands and on with all the different hats, amazing!

Pudding Toes get cutest by the minute... and what beautiful photographs of her and her sweet grandpa... a treasure to keep for ever... she will love to see those photos when she grows up....

Let us get our instruments tightly strung and our melodies sweetly sung. Let us not die with our music still in us."

Wishing you sunshine and bird songs and a lovely weekend. Enjoy the weather outside--is lovely here too. I can't believe pretty soon we'll have our first frost and "boom"! everything will be gone.

Hugs

She is so adorable and cute, it melts my heart just seeing this, so blissful. It reminded me of those times when my girls were babies too :D
