How He Love Us!

Congratulations Skyler and Kim!

Several weeks ago a friend of mine introduced me to some music by an new up and coming worship leader.  I had been hearing many of the kids talking about this singer from Redding California, out of Bill Johnson church.  Matter of fact they all went to a Spiritual Hunger Conference in Spokane where she was  leading worship.  I unfortunately missed the conference.  So for the last several weeks I have been listening to her music.  I was getting so ministered to by her songs in my spirit.  Who was this girl?  She has this very deep haunting voice, with a passion for the Lord that truly comes through her worship.   A few months ago a young man I know who is a talented worship leader in our area all of a sudden started dating. His girl friend it turned out to be none other than Kim Walker this young worship leader I had been listening to. Apparently they were childhood friends, and had recently reconnected through a mutual friend. Now this precious couple is engaged.  And oh my what giftings and callings are on both of these amazing young people.  This past week Kim was up here visiting her fiancee Skyler and they co-led a Sunday morning worship service.   I was privilege to get to visit the service and meet Kim.  I am so happy for this couple and all that the Lord has in store for them.   I thought some of you might like to listen to one of my favorite "soaking songs" these days, by Kim Walker.

Now most of you regulars know I like really youthful music.  I mostly listen to what the kids listen too.  This starts out slow and sweet but gets very rich and deep with passion.  Give it a chance, and I promise you will fall in love with Kim and her amazing love for the Lord too! And I pray it will cause you to catch the King's  heart for yourself!

Thank you for the HUGE blessing your blog is to me. I haven't visited for awhile and WOW! These last posts are packed with LIFE!: spiritual LIFE, family LIFE, relational LIFE, home LIFE. The richness & robust-ness(made up word? I just keep hearing ROBUST!) of LIFE that God has blessed you with, because you give the time & effort it takes to share it, it brings LIFE to others; like me. :)

Dave & I have been reading the daily devotional, "My Utmost for His Highest". Here's a quote from today's: "Whenever you get a blessing from God, give it back to Him as a love-gift. Take time to meditate before God & offer the blessing back to Him in a deliberate act of worship. It must be given back to Him so that He can make it a blessing to others".

This is what you do with your blog. It's a love-gift, an act of worship, and it's a blessing to others. Thank you. Bless you. Rose Ann

That was intense! You are one hip gal; I am so not, but I could definitely appreciate Kim's voice and that music. It sent shivers up my spine.

There's the story of a great Bible teacher being asked what the greatest hymn ever written was to which he replied, "Jesus Loves Me This I Know." This is something that people must know...God loves us. He operates from love. He is all about love. Everything is working out His plan, which is far more than we could ever even imagine. That's why I am so glad that young people are sharing this core truth.

Thanks for the link!

I love her music. It reminds me of the times I went to youth group at the bridge and they played this and we worshiped with the video. Powerful.
