Baby Avey Update

Our little Miss Sweet Pea is now 3 months old. She has quite the eyebrow action going on.

There is nothing like being a Nana. I could never have imagined how this season of my life would be. Just tonight we had the grands and mom and dad over for dinner. We were constantly entertained by the babies. Miss Avey is growing up way to fast. I just want to freeze frame everything. As they were leaving Eden was a little weepy to leave Nana and Papa's...( oh how I secretly adore that...hmmm guess it is no secret...hehehe) I had to tell her to come back next week and spend a day with Nana. She thought about that and said "and cheese noodles too?" Oh yes Nana will make cheese noodles and we can garden. Okay she was satisfied, cheese noodles and gardening. I am soooooooooooo in love it is ridiculous. Only thing that would make this season of my life better is more energy!!!

What a beautiful baby...I had to smile as i read your notes as you said it so well, it was almost like I was talking about how I feel about my grand as well. This part of life has just some of the best parts of living.

Oh phew! I've been gone so long that I thought Avey might've been sick or something...this is just the kind of update I like reading about. I agree with you about the energy thing. I need more of that, too. And it is a particular thrill to know that the grands don't want to leave quite yet. (And a real let-down when they are more than ready. Ha!)

Yes, being called Nana is just about the best! I 'skyp' with my two every day, and I love to hear 'Hi Nanaaaaaaa!'
I loved reading about your family reunion, with all the fun and food. One of the best things for a strong family is other strong families!

Don't ya just wonder what they're thinking when their eyebrows go in all directions like that? So very precious.

These are beautiful photos of Avey. She is beautiful. I love how expressive her eyebrows are. What a cutie! I need more energy too. I don't know where it went. Up until about 10 years ago I was zoom, zoom, zoom. Not anymore. Okay, I need to know how to make the cheese noodles. Avery is very pickey and maybe you have a new take on them.

What a little doll baby!

More energy would be greatly appreciated, as well as fewer aches. :D

Oh I miss the days when the grands were little. Now I must wait for great grands. Hope they hurry up and start coming.

Being a granmother is almost indescribable in that there are no words to fully explain the sense of adoration and love and butterflies in the stomach when you know you are going to see them and much more. aren't we blessed.

Hello darling,
I am back and have missed you terribly!! I have a post on my blog that explains my lengthy absence but enough of that, I just wanted to stop by personally to thank you for the sweet birthday wish you left Cristina and to let you know that your kindness meant the world to us both. I am now off to read the posts that I have missed and to look around your gorgeous blog.
Love & Hugs
