Prayers Worked

Honestly from the moment I asked for prayer, my M-I-L turned around.  She came home today, and is quite perky.  You know that saying... God works in mysterious ways.  I had tried to get Nellie a shower and the nurse was obviously not wanting to do it.  She said she needed a doctor's order to give her blood before she would....so that took all day yesterday. They told us she was anemic. Funny how they hadn't considered giving her blood till I asked for a shower???   Last night they gave her blood.  Bathing time came and went today and still no shower.  Nellie was released at 3:30 this afternoon.  But she came home so much more alert, hungry and perky.  I am thinking the blood transfusion had a lot to do with it...because I asked for a shower. They wouldn't have contemplated it otherwise.  God knew what Nellie needed...even if I didn't have a clue...or the doctors for that matter...Thank you Father of Lights

Rom 8:26  Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans.

Thanks again for praying!!!!

Bless the Lord! What a magnificent and humble testimony to the goodness of God. His ways are, most definitely, not our ways; and His methods simply perfect.

May a new peace blanket you and your entire family.

You are an inspiration and encouragement to me through this blog. How beautifully you share the amazing workings of our Heavenly Father. Through it all, you praise and thank Him. So happy to hear that your MIL is doing better. He truly does guide our steps, one at a time, in His most perfect way. Thank you for sharing.

Oh I'm so happy to hear she's been released and is feeling better. She's so sweet - I've been thinking about her a lot lately and praying for her. Love you guys! I don't like being away from family when people aren't feeling well, stay healthy! :)

I say, "Praise the Lord!" He is so good to us. I pray Nellie continues to get strong and we are still praying for her. Being in the hospital is so different from 30 or 40 years ago. I guess all of life is pretty different. Take care.luv, Trish
