Busy but Fun Weekend!

We had company this weekend, very good friends from Portland, and Jenna dear from Seattle. Friday night Jenna came home and we had a bit of a chat. On Saturday we did a wine tasting at Barnard Griffin, and Saturday night had dinner for nine at my house.  Sunday was a Valentine Day lunch at Tagaris, and our second viewing of Avatar with our friends. They hadn't seen it, and were thinking they might not...that had to be remedied. Meanwhile Meg and Jenna did a photo shoot. That night we took Jenna out to her favorite Mexican restaurant.  Monday was breakfast at our house with my girls and Dan. (Megan and babies, & Jenna) Then Jenna and I went off shopping, and finished the weekend with pedicures...woooooh.  I managed to squeeze in a lot of weekend. It was so much fun.  Now off to my week of gardening. The interns are in Africa for two weeks and  I have 100 roses to prune...so I will keep you all updated ;)

Here is a preview of the photo shoot...you can go to Photographybymeg to see the rest. My girls both amaze me!

Oh a gal can "capture" her sister better than nearly anyone. Lovely pics! Lovely roses! Busy, crazy weekend that was exhausting to even read about. What a lot of activity! Makes you know that you're alive!!

This blog is chocked full of talent...artistry, photography, gardner, and loving grandma, making it so fun to visit each time. You certainly do have a beautiful model and an amazing photographer in your two daughters.

It is so fun to stop by your blog and get a glimpse into your life. Your Jenna is beautiful! The paintings are lovely too. Are you coming this way? Love to see you over coffee.

I just popped over from the Rose Tea Cottage and wanted to say a big "YES" and "HOORAY" to everything that you've said in your sidebar. I love God! I love Elizabeth Goudge and the "Scent of Water" and the scent of water (which is lovely coming through the kitchen window in the summertime! I just wanted to say "Blessings" and thanks for the encouragement and inspiration!

Love, Katy Noelle

Wow, gorgeous daughter and gorgeous photos. My favorite photo, though, is the most recent black & white one of PT on your right sidebar. I have really enjoyed your photos of both babies.

Blessings,
Christi

Your girls really are into photography. Beautiful.

If that is your home in the first picture it looks amazing.
