Only Ten More!

Well I finally made some progress in the garden this weekend.  Pruning my roses is taking much longer than I had hoped.  Out of 73 roses though I have only ten more left to prune!

It didn't help that I had a traumatic dental visit earlier this week.  I was getting a crown done. They said 1 1/2 hours...it went 2 1/2 hours. You know it is not going well when they have to numb you three separate times; when they run out of gas in the middle of your procedure; and when the next day the dental assistant calls you from home on her day off to see "how you are doing."  Ugggh, I hate the dentist and now I hate them even more.  I was definitely down for the count for two days. Ick!

On a happier note I did get to spend and afternoon with the babies. Here are a few pictures of a lovely spring moment.  Puddin Toes learning to petal.

Now back to my roses. I have three spots to fill.  So here are some roses I am considering.

Awww sorry to hear about your toother, ouch!! Not fun! :/

The girls sure look sweet, and growing like weeds. Any your new roses will be amazing when they have their first bloom.

Happy Spring Sis~~~

They're all so beautiful that it'd be hard to select a favorite...well, other than those two rosebuds playing in the garden.

Oh I don't like dental work one little bit either. Glad that you're back at it and may the crown last forever.

Choosing which rose to plant is half the fun. :) I'd definitely put Louise Clements somewhere, she's a beauty!

So sorry about your problems at the dentist. I just found out last week that I need another crown, but I'm going to wait awhile on that. Our new insurance won't cover it for a year and since it's not bothering me, waiting is the best option.

Happy planting!

Your photography is stellar! Austins do not perform well in my climate,so I'll enjoy yours through your photos. Thanks for stopping by my site.

Jim: The rose photos are not mine. I am hoping to have some of these this summer to photograph. The grand babies on the other hand are done by my daughter.
