Monet Arch and Gates

Some projects are getting done this weekend yaaaay.  How about you?  Are you traveling, doing projects or entertaining?  I hate traveling on holiday weekends, but I love to entertain.  This  Memorial Day weekend however we are checking things off the project list.

Monet Arch                  check
Driveway Gate              check
English Garden Gate     check
 Now for some roses on the naked arch =}

It feels great to have the privacy on the side yard and to be able to store some things away from street view...like my composter!

Now that the gate issue is resolved we can get our pool inspected.  Soon and very soon I am hoping to get the concrete work finished, and be open for swim season.  Come on Mr. Sun!

What always amazes me about your home photos is all the SKY you have. It's so gloriously open! :)

haha that is because we live in a desert =) I am desperately trying for the oasis effect because I grew up amongst trees in New England and I miss green! Our sunsets are spectacular though!

Your garden is lovely. Can't wait to see roses on that arch. Beautiful iris too.

You have no need to mess with container gardening with all that space! Remember, I live on a postage stamp. ☺ Still, a little pot of herbs always comes in handy if one doesn't want to walk much further than the kitchen door.

All those gates look wonderful. It really must be a good feeling to see progress! Your gardens are always beautiful and the irises are amazing. I still don't have any irises and I was sure that I had gathered some in.

A pool will be just the way to spend some relaxing summer afternoons. We're still praying for sun here, too, believe it or not. Perhaps in time for the holiday.

I can't wait to see that arch when it is covered with roses or vines and perhaps a bench below??

The colors in your latest header are so gorgeous; I could look at them for a long time.

I'm looking forward to seeing that arch draped in roses! I can almost see it already. It's looking mighty fine over there!

How well you are getting on with your garden projects Cindy considering you are in a relatively new place. Going to look wonderful.

I'm getting back to blogging after a long haul with new computer stuff. Probably leave it till winter to learn lots of new stuff.

Had lot of house projects too so looking forward to time out soon I hope.
