A Few Posies

I was very busy this week with arranging some flowers for a wedding reception at our church. The young bride wanted some very eclectic flower arrangements. She wanted daisy's and white tulips. Her colors were brown and green. It was a challenge for me, but great fun at the same time. We kind of did these simple floral and fruit table scape's.

We grew some grass and had that set on the guest book table, the bar, and the wedding party table...different but quite fun.

And here is the cute little bride. Emily is my daughter's best friend, and while she was getting married Jenna was on her way to Jakarta. We all missed her very much at the wedding...sad

Thought you might like to see their simple but elegant cake too!
I will be posting about Jenna sometime this week as pictures come in from Jakarta. She is already in love with the people of this city and eating some mighty spicy food.

It is a little hot, but my daughter is safe and blessed to be spending the next three months in serving this community.

Beautiful bride, handsome groom! You did a wonderful job with the flower arrangements...very professional and completely terrific!

Loving the "big girl" new pictures of Puddin' Toes, too.

What beautiful arrangements! Girl, you are so talented and in so many ways. The couple is adorable. Is that kiwi in the first pic? Your flowers are always so pretty.

Truly a 'green' wedding, I see. I especially like the 'encased' look of the tulips in the straight vases. Simple yet dramatic. The bride is beautiful and they look so in love....aren't weddings beautiful?!

Congratulations on enhancing the beauty of this blessed event with your floral arranging talents....

What a pretty bride. And boy was she lucky to have you to design her flowers! Each arrangement is gorgeous. I especially love the one with the kiwi. I'll bet everyone at the reception had great comments on it.

I love weddings; they're so much fun--weddings symbolizes new beginning; a new life together! I've always admire the lady that does all the wedding arrangements at our church; she is so talented and so good at making pretty flower arrangements... and as I can see, I'm sure the same could be said about you.

I have posted something about my roses and would like to hear your opinion. I have a rose with an unknown name (at least to me) and was wondering if you could identify it....

Have a lovely day

Cielo

Oh Cindy - everything you touch turns to "gold" - in other words beautiful! What a gift you have for creating beauty. And Emily looks lovely and happy! I'm so sad that Jenna missed it - looking forward to reading about her time in Jakarta. I think of her SO often and say a prayer for God to bless her and use her in a mighty way!
