Easter Moments

Let me first say my blogging has been on the back burner with Dan's mom back in the hospital, trips to Seattle, and various other life stuff happenings.

We had a very low keyed holiday. Both Josh and Jenna weren't able to make it home. Everyone here caught up in lots of issues, especially with grandma in the hospital.  We are taking turns to be there at every meal, or she won't eat. I think she is getting very tired, it is her third trip there in five months. Just when we thought she was in complete recovery, she took a nose dive on us.

We were able to attend church together with the grands, and have a simple lunch afterwards back at our house.  The one special treat of the day was to hide some eggs for Eden.  In all her cuteness she danced around the back yard picking up each egg as though each one was a very special miracle.  Kind of like how God feels about us...just delighted :)

Hope you all had a blessed Easter.

Here is a link to my daughter's Easter in Seattle.  Pastor Elijah was singing an old favorite for the gang back in the Tri Cities. "Alleluia, He Is Coming"

Sorry that your mother-in-law is having some troubles just now... It's a challenge to be so very needed. May you all feel God's comfort surrounding you.

Oh that grandgirlie gathering her Easter eggs is so darling. Made me smile!

Wishing what is best for grandma.

We do the best we can to hold life together and keep the little one's day full of normal things.

Wonderful pictures.

Blessings.

A quiet Easter is just fine, especially if you have this special little girl to bring you delight in her delight! Such lovely pictures, and so "pretty in pink." We've been where you are with a parent, and will be again undoubtedly. It's a season of life that can last quite awhile, as you know, and that "Sandwich" thing going on. Blessing to you. He is risen!

Isn't life interesting? Everything can be going along quite fine and then...one phone call or one issue with health and all changes. Sorry that you all going through this valley. I know extra work like meals and day trips sure can be taxing on one. I do hope she is soon feeling better, and life can calm down a bit for you. One thing for sure...Eden is so precious and the pictures of her are amazing!

Hello dear,

I thought I answered you on YOUR comments, but I was on my page. What I said is that Jeff used Benjamin Moore stains for both the floors and the walls of "Sprig." They're holding up well and immediately gave a nice aged feel to her.

Wish we had been able to connect when I was up there. I would love to return to M. nursery.

All joys to you,

How the children love their Easter Egg hunts.Had my family over Easter Day where we all ate together but did take Oliver to house church for the egg hunt.
All the children put their eggs into one large basket at the end and they are then shared out. Works better than some having lots and some hardly any.

You obviously are having a difficult time at present. Blessings to you.
