May Day!

Happy May Day
To all of you my friends! Here is a basket I want to leave at your front door. So let's pretend I have rung your door bell, and surprise a present for you. This is actually a May Day basket I put together from my old garden for a very special elderly rosarian friend. Have a great day!

Puddin Toes is getting ready for summer. Here she is with her new summer look completed with her baby pink crocks.

Oh ho ho...look at her go! She's very trusting isn't she?! LOL! Love the pink crocs!

Thank you for posting a picture of your flowers all arranged in a basket. Your friend is going to feel so blessed just as I do.

Have a marvelous day!

I just popped by to thank you for the flowers at my front door...and to admire little 'puddin toes'.

And while I'm visiting, I'm catching up on your recent posts. Thanks for the yummy recipe...and for the tour of the Cotswolds. Wonderful!

We use to make May baskets when I was a kid. I remember one time that grandma (who lived across the road from us) rang out door bell. My sister and I ran to the door and found grandma around the corner of the house....out of breath. She laughed and said she barely made it there before we found her! Great memories. Thanks for ringing the door bell on our memories.

I wonder if puddin toes is smiling so because she is in great hands (papas).

Nadine: What a perfect picture of how we should always trust our "Papa" If we do, we can learn to fly too!

This is a great plug for "The Shack"

"Well come on in with that beautiful basket of flowers..., I'm so glad you brought Puddin Toes along with you." She is just precious...She is such a little princess...

Tell me...isn't it the truth that you love them more than you thought possible?

deedee: I never imagined how much... and I find I am still loosing my heart daily to this precious little one!

When I think of your little Lily going off to kindergarten...oh my!

And you know, I felt a lot more reserved bragging about my own children, although I did my fair share and still do. But with Puddin Toes, there just is no stopping me…I am just hopelessly smitten, and if it bugs anyone…I can totally understand that, bless them… but I am not going to be able to stop being enamored with this child...it is just what it is! Grandparenthood...a priceless blessing I will never be able to take for granted.

Happy May Day Cindy. My friend and I have always celebrated this holiday. every other year we buy flowers for the other person. It started in high school when I walked into homeroom and there was a flower on my desk!!!
The next year I surprised her with a flower and so it went...
