The good news is America has elected the first African American man to the office of the President of the United States. This is a historic moment, and I am proud of my country for this.
The bad news is that my heart is sick with the possibilities of Barack Obama's left wing agenda.
The best news is that I will put my trust in God, not in a man or a political party. Now is not the time to give up on our knees. I honestly think that we can make a choice here to trust God and pray for the leaders of our land. I will choose to bless this man and our nation and pray, pray, pray.
1Ti 2:1-3 The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know. Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so we can be quietly about our business of living simply, in humble contemplation. This is the way our Savior God wants us to live.
Pro 21:1 The king's heart is in the hand of Jehovah as the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He will.
