All I needed was a few days away from the whole tree thing. I was so busy planning and putting on my daughter's birthday party, I had no time to worry about my tree. I come back to blog land, and low and behold two pieces of extremely good advice. I am going with October Glory, love the name, and it looks pretty. How simple can that be? I think you are absolutely right. Thanks guys I am hoping to go get it and plant it today! More blogging to come on THE PARTY....

Whew! I missed out on the whole voting thing because I've been rather consumed with helping my Mom & Dad make their house as wheelchair friendly and clean as possible (thankfully with the help of 2 of my brothers). I am glad you pick the Autumn Glory - it's my favorite too. Love the rounded canopy.
